Marc helps organizations grow smarter by connecting business performance, marketing, and data science. With experience ranging from marketing agencies to scale-ups and a strong technical foundation, he ensures that data insights lead to action and real results.
About
Marc studied Data Science & Marketing Analytics at the University of Groningen, after which he began his career in 2019 at performance marketing agency Oogst. After mastering the finer points of performance marketing, he moved to the Data, Tech & Optimization team. Following the acquisition by Merkle, he grew into the role of Data Science Lead and co-led the generative AI agenda for Merkle Northern Europe. In 2024, he joined the scale-up Wundermart in the hospitality industry, where he built the analytics foundation and worked on forecasting and clustering models.
Alongside his studies, he has been involved in the marketing of his parents’ restaurant since 2012, and in 2019 he co-founded Tuinfeest, where he was responsible for, among other things, the marketing of events and festivals.
Thanks to a mix of hands-on experience, a statistical background, and technical expertise in Python, SQL, and R, Marc helps companies with creative solutions that take them to the next level.
